Blackbird Caye Resort/Belize
Your vacation begins when you are met by resort staff at the Belize International Airport for a 20 minute ride to our dock in Belize City. There you will board our fast 50 foot transfer vessel for the spectacular 32 mile trip to Blackbird Caye Resort
While sipping on complimentary sodas and Belizean beer you will be weaving through coconut covered sand and mangrove islands, which will lead to the Belize Barrier Reef and then to the eastern side of Turneffe Atoll, home of Blackbird Caye Resort.
The fast one-and-a-quarter hour boat trip is both exciting and scenic. When you arrive the excitement continues, although at a slower pace.
There is something at Blackbird Caye Resort for everyone. You can be as busy as you like, diving, snorkeling, kayaking or slowing down and reading a book among the 166 acres that encompass our resort.
Enjoy the tranquility of our tropical paradise. You will relax to the sound of water lapping on the shore, birds singing in the morning and wonder why you don't indulge in trips like this more often.
- Our resort sits on two miles of jungle and beach nestled among hundreds of coconut trees. The resort holds 36 guests based on double occupancy. All of our units have air-conditioning, private bathrooms with hot and cold water, daily maid service and electricity that runs at 110 volts, 24-hours a day.
- At the front of the main dock is our huge palapa syle restaurant and lounge area. Fresh island cuisine is prepared with native foods by our chef and served by a gracious staff, friendly and eager to serve you.
- All of our diving is drift diving. Our captain pilots the boat to you upon your ascent so there is no tiring swim back to the boat. Our divemasters rinse your gear each evening and set it up for you after breakfast. There is no need to worry about it once you arrive on the island.
- Our dive shop is equipped with dive gear and two compressors. Our staff of professionally trained, PADI certified, dive masters and instructors will make every effort to fulfill your diving preferences.
