I have vacationed to CCR twice in the past year and both experiences were exceptional. From the helpful and pleasant staff right up to Ari, CCR's owner, everyone works hard to make your stay a great experience. The food is excellent and I would strongly suggest the meal plan with your diving package. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean, spacious, secure and comfortable. Mine had a recently renovated bathroom. In addition, a stay at CCR includes roundtrip airport transfers which is a nice touch.
As far as the diving, Divetech, on the premises, is a world class shop. The shore diving at CCR is world class as it the mini wall at their sister location, Light House Point. Divetech offers complementary transportation to Light House Point which is 10 minutes away. Divetech's instructors and staff are exceptional. I have taken several courses including my AOW and Night Diver speciality courses and I could not have been in more competent and caring hands. The boat diving staff prioritizes safety and fun while making sure divers experience the best sights around the island.
