Sam's Tours is an independent PADI Five Star National Geographic Dive Center and eco-adventure tour company based in Malakal Harbor, Koror, Palau, Micronesia. Operating every day of the year, we offer scuba dive trips, snorkel trips, rock island tours, land tours, Palau's top rated kayak trips with Planet Blue Kayak Tours and Sam's Tours offers a unique dive experience, Eclipse, a full service chartered dive liveaboard small enough to be exclusive and affordable for just one or two couples or a family.
Our wide range of services includes full day or half-day trips for individuals, families and groups, customized private charters, and complete hotel & tour packages in conjunction with Palau's preferred hotel properties. Complimentary roundtrip shuttle service is provided to all Koror based hotels.
Excellent customer care, personalized attention, and professional service have earned Sam's Tours PADI 5-Star National Geographic Center recognition as Palau's premier scuba diving center with eight Scuba Diving Magazine, Reader's Choice Awards since 1997, including “Best Dive Operator”, Best Dive Staff ” and “Best Value”.
Our custom built dive boats provide safe, fast, and comfortable trips that include a complimentary visit to Palau's amazing Jellyfish Lake. For added safety and comfort we offer guests complimentary Nitrox up to 36% (with proof of certification) and observe a maximum of only eight divers per guide.
- Our custom built dive boats are canopied for sun protection, equipped with DAN Emergency Oxygen, First Aid kits, radio communications and operated by licensed experience local crew. For added passenger comfort, our fleet is almost completely re-powered with quieter, odor-free and more environmentally friendly Yamaha 4-stroke outboard motors.
- Our Digital Photo Center is equipped with a camera prep table and secure storage area for personal photography equipment.
- Our full service on-site Digital Photo Center offers Canon SD850 Powershot digital cameras and Canon ZR830 digital camcorders complete with underwater housings for rent. High speed Apple iMAC workstations optimized for digital imaging and wireless internet access offer photogrpahers complete post-shooting support.
- Private hot showers are available in both the Ladies and Gentleman's restrooms.
- Our secure "wet storage" Guest Locker are equipped with shelves and hanging racks, good ventilation and floor drainage for safe storage of our customer's personal equipment including large suitcases and other bags that are not required on the dive boat.
- Complimentary hotel shuttles are provided to all Koror based hotels from morning through late in the evening.
